Osaka Bay Area Partnership
The Osaka Bay Area Association was established on November 15, 2000, the year before Universal Studios Japan™ opened, by tourist and lodging facilities located in the Osaka Bay Area, with the aim of attracting more visitors to the Osaka Bay Area through cooperation among facilities, improving circulation between facilities, and ultimately developing the Osaka Bay Area. The Osaka Bay Area was established on November 15, 2000, the year before the opening of Universal Studios Japan™. The Osaka Bay Area covers the areas of Hokko, Sakishima, Maishima, Yumeshima, Universal City, Tempozan, Nanko, Bentencho, Taisho, and Suminoe in Osaka City. In order to increase the name recognition of the Osaka Bay Area and to attract more visitors to the area, various facility collaboration projects are implemented, centering on the distribution of the “Osaka Bay Area Map” that provides a list of the Osaka Bay Area, the dissemination of information on the website “OSAKA BAYAREA.com” and the publication of the event information magazine “Bay Area NOW”. We are implementing a variety of projects in collaboration with other facilities. We will continue to implement facility collaboration projects to promote the prosperity of the area with a spirit of hospitality.
